I am not sure what's Venezuela gonna look like if he runs the country for another six years. Today is the day he gets reelected again. I guess there would sitll be mass exodus to Columbia, mass starvation, hyper inflation and increasing crime. I don't know how he could just sleep every single night like that.

There are risk of protest if everyone attempts to do that the the government. There would be a risk of civil war as what has happened to countries like Syria at the time it was just peaceful protest which grew into an all out war which destroyed many of the country and till today it hasn't recovered. I don't think Maduro would want to step down or else he would become a target so instead he would hold on to power as much as he could. This is the same for the state I am in. There is this man who is around 92 at the moment and has siphoned so much money from the state that he is almost untouchable. He has been the man in charge for the past 30 to forty years. Murders those who oppose him by having them suddenly disappearing and then at the moment even though there are new minister in power isa puppet to this man.

Maduro doesn't feel any pain of what the people in his country are currently facing as he is comfortably seated in his beautiful presidential home with no worries at all. I think if everyday everyone starts to protest outside his home, he would get freaked out and start doing something about it to help mend the economy. Hope he steps down so Venezuela can be great again.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3r2w3gaq","appParentAuthor":"hlezama","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
