He may be passionate about acting, but if he is not talented, then following his passions may not be the best path. Thus, the aspiring actor might be better off pursuing a career high-earning in the corporate world. Sure, he is not passionate about it, but he is likely to be more successful in the high-earning field, which in turn has could give him better job satisfaction, especially if the alternative is constantly facing rejection and struggle. On the other hand, a person who has been on a science track for most of their life might be better off continuing the track because that is what they do best. </p>\n<p>Second, it is important to note that in the case of new graduates and recent entrants to the workforce, your first job may not necessarily be the career you will pursue for the rest of your work life. Odds are, you are likely to spend no more than four years on your first job. Thus, there is nothing wrong with following the money first, especially during the beginning of your career. You can always switch jobs later on, once you figure out the right career path for you. This way, you are also allowing yourself to earn a nice paycheck, while figuring out your next steps. </p>\n<p>And third, just because you are pursuing a career because of the money, it doesn't mean that you cannot learn to love the career you chose. According to experts, the most successful and satisfied individuals are those who focus on acquiring new skills, learning from experience, and improving the quality of their work, and not necessarily the field they are in. This is because they are the ones who learn to cultivate a \"practical passion\" in whatever career they are in, allowing them to find contentment in whatever they do, even if the career is being pursued for the money.</p>\n<p>Thus, it is not wrong to pursue a career for the money. After all, a lot of people has found successes doing so, much more so than the people who pursued their passions.
