Create a budget and stick to it. The only way to save is if you know how much you can afford to spend and you know how much you are spending. There is no magical trick to saving. How much do you earn and how much do you spend. If you want to save then you spend less than you earn even if it means having less nice things or eating less expensive food, etc. You have to keep track of your spending everyday in order to be able to save.
