That entry level can be lowered by making the developer's job easy. Just like you are given many modular components of a roof and you simply purchase it from the market and go to your house and just assemble and install the roof. Just like that the blockchain technology has to be flexible too. Because not the plot size or the size of the house or the size of room is going to be same for all. So provide that flexibility to cover all types of consumers. As the physical world is diverse and vast, the technology has to be of that types to cover a large number of customer and businesses.</p>\n<p>Technically speaking, the current era is more tiled towards scalability. Most of time users look more deeply into the scalability than whether it is centralized or decentralized. So unless you make the scalability equal to what the centralized services offer, you can not come to that level where a user can choose between centralized or decentralized. </p>\n<p>The high performace dApps environment is really key when it comes to infrastructure around a blockchain technology. It is good to have a high characterstics blockchain technology but if the performance of the dApps is not on the higher side then the environment may not be sustainable. That is why project like EOS is gaining more popularity because of its absolute high performance and conducive dApps environment. Many projects are switching to EOS protocol from their existing protocol. So transaction speed, scalability are key to such an ecosystem. I think it is already setting the tone of future version of blockchain technology. </p>\n<p>While people will ride the ethos of decentralization, they will also look for high performance and that is what the businesses will always look for. With the passage of time this area of development is going to be intensified. Such projects will be more popular and definitely will win the race. </p>\n<p>So in my opinion there three key things which will take the blockchain technology forward from here on are- <strong>decentralization, dApps platform, scaling capacity</strong>.
