A post has $10 as it's reward payout. What you receive will be around 75% as 25% goes to the curators of your post. The people that vote share 25% of your $10.
\n
Steem price has been fluctuating and over the last month or so lost 50 percent in value. If you use certain apps like Esteem they also take a beneficiary cut of 10 percent. Do your homework and look on your profile at steemworld.org. Look at post payout and it will show you how it is broken down and who gets what.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3e3vjvyw","appParentAuthor":"milaan","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

Everyone on the blockchain does. This is due to the volatile nature of the blockchain price. This prices fluctuate. As it goes up, your reward increases and as it goes down, your reward also goes down. That us one cause of that.

The other reason us because at the end of post payout, the reward is shared in a proportion. One portion goes to the author also known as the AUTHOR REWARD and the other portion to the curators also known as the CURATOR REWARD. The curators are the ones that upvoted your post. They are the ones that helped you earn that amount. And to INCENTIVIZE them to vote more, the system also rewards them si they can do more. It's a normal thing. Don't be bothered.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3e3vjvyw","appParentAuthor":"milaan","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

When we get steem as liquid reward it depends on the market price and by calculating that our reward varies while SBD is pegged as 1 USD. whatever the price of it is in the market we will always get in the price of 1 USD.
\n
While if there is beneficiary reward such as posting via Dtube/esteemapp and few other dapps they will take additional 10% to 15% (depending on the dapp) from your cut. Which will simultaneously decrease the payout of yours.
\n

","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3e3vjvyw","appParentAuthor":"milaan","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
