It consists of eating foods rich in fats, moderate in protein, but very low in carbohydrates and it causes the body to go into a state called ketosis.
\n
The keto diet can be very effective because once the body is in ketosis and starved for its preferred fuel glucose, the body's chemistry changes and it begins to aggressively burn its fat stores. This leads to weight loss and can reverse the symptoms of diseases like Type 2 diabetes.
\n
The Paleolithic diet, or caveman diet, a weight-loss craze in which people emulate the diet of plants and animals eaten by early humans during the Stone Age, gives modern calorie-counters great freedom because those ancestral diets likely differed substantially over time and space.
\n
It's very difficult to characterize the Paleo diet. Because of certain types of foods and a percentage of energy that should come from protein, fats and carbohydrates.
\n
When you're trying to schedule the diet of humans, you want to look at a number of things, including the habitats, the potential foods that are available, how valuable those various food items are in relation to their energy content and how long it takes to handle a food item. But modern society has become so modern that the diet has a synthetic factor and paleo diet may not be a practical solution either. The best way out is balanced diet.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fkql3sdsf","appParentAuthor":"jasper-william","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
