All three provide a new in understanding people's behavior which is not always based on a rational mindset. Link: The Power of Thinking without Thinking.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>This book contains a collection of stories about intuition and instincts that work very quickly in decision making or concluding something in the mind. This intuition appears in the form of cognitive repulsion, snap judgment, rapid cognition, etc. The main idea is that decisions or judgments that are generated quickly can be no accurate than decision making or assessment through a long process such as the scientific method or rational thinking process, especially if done by experts in their fields. Unfortunately, the fast process is easily affected by emotions and preconceptions, so it is counterproductive. This book contains stories of experts, such as John Gottman who can predict whether his client's marriage will last or not 15 years to come, until the story of the mistakes of Americans in choosing Warren Harding, who has a convincing appearance as a leader, but instead becomes one of the Presidents worst in US history.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>2. Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shapes Our Decisions.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This book argues that systematically we do sometimes behave irrationally. In it, a lot of new explanations about everyday phenomena that we normally consider to be natural, but actually are not rational. For example, why is it difficult for us to hold back when offered anything that is free? Why are we more comfortable helping others without being paid than cheap? Why in many ways do people tend to choose anything that is a default? And many other examples. Interestingly, irrational actions occur repeatedly so they can be predicted and can even be utilized.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>3. The Power of Habits: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This book contains a collection of stories about how habits are formed and how they affect personal life, business, and social life. Interestingly, it is told that the habit is like a program that runs automatically, where even people who are lost in memory will still be able to do their habits well without interruption.
