json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Fees"],"appCategory":"Fees","appTitle":"Which university has the lowest tution fees?","appBody":"<p>Well this basically depends on what country exactly that you're talking about, but I know that Nigeria has some of the cheapest tuition fees on the planet. </p><p>The total amount of money I paid in terms of tuition was less than 1000$ over the course of 5years, so when you compare that to schools in the US and other countries where people pay thousands of dollars a year and have to start saving for college from when they're babies, I think Nigerian universities are definitely the cheapest.</p><p>As far as what the cheapest University in Nigeria is, it would have to be the University of Benin because they have departments which pay tuition as low as 13,000 naira. There are departments that pay higher than that, but there's no other school that has tuition that's as low as that. </p><p>Just to put it into perspective, 13,000naira is about 35dollars.
