| json_metadata | "{"app":"musing/1.1","appTags":["Question"],"appCategory":"Question","appTitle":"Do the bible endorse slavery?","appBody":"<p>No, not at all the fact that there were slaves in Bible times doesn't mean the Bible encourages slavery.</p><p>God does not create anyone to be slaves to their fellow men.</p><p>God original plan was for man to have Dominion over everything he created and rule,it was sin that changes everything then but thank God for the coming of Christ Jesus who has redeemed us from sin and death.</p><p>Nobody enjoys being a slave and circumstances in those days made many people slaves it was never their choice and God never endorses slavery.</p><p>Slavery is evil infact and we saw how evil slavery was during slave trade some hundreds of years back how the Africans were subject to these evil called slave trade and how hundred of thousands died during slave trade and how millions were forcefully taken away from their home overseas to work as slaves for the white Man.</p><p>Every Man was born to have total freedom and right and not to be a slave to his own fellow humans.</p><p>There is no where in the Bible that God command that people should have slave the Bible only instruct on how they should treat them that are slaves.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3wefchzq","appParentAuthor":"otondoandrew","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
