Little or no life can be found there and its also know for the distance between water sources. </p><p>Oases are created through a couple of ways. They can be man made or underground aquifers create enough pressure for the water to sip to the surface which supports the life in the desert and provides watwr for travelers. </p><p>An oasis if formed from underground water or above ground water like rain storms, surface rivers which protect the natural environment of the oasis. </p><p>Other cases are that rock layers trap and channel water through fault lines which leads to water seeping to the nearby aquifers as some rock naturally retain water. </p><p>In cases where the aquifers do not have enough pressure to push the water upwards, man made wells are built to help draw the water up</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fkgpekld5","appParentAuthor":"giftedminds","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
