I have a friend who's dating someone that's 10+ years older than she is and their relationship is almost effortless.</p><p>As far as his kids go, you have to ask yourself whether or not you're ready to be the mother of someone else's child, ultimately the decision has to be yours. It doesn't matter what anyone says, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, what matters is what you decide to do. </p><p>You're actually in a pretty good position, alot of single dads tend to become more faithful when they have kids because they can't expect to be bringing different women around their kids and as such they try to find someone who'll be a more permanent fit for them and their kids so you don't have to worry about his fidelity.</p><p>If other people frown upon your relationship with the guy then ignore them, the thing about relationships is that they're between you and your partner, third parties and their opinions aren't and shouldn't be a part of it. </p><p>To me there's absolutely nothing wrong with this, if the roles were reversed then maybe I'd have a slight problem with it, but as far as I'm concerned it's a pretty good pairing if you ask me. But if what is implied is just by going on a date with no real intentions of getting married, then maybe it is not right, because of the implications it may have on either the lady or the man, or even the child. There are several implications or consequences that comes in situation like this, such as lack of guidance or parental care on the child because of the undivided attention directed towards the lady only. </p><p>But if the date will lead to marriage then there is nothing wrong with it.
