| json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["religion","fundamentalism","belief","extremism","ideology",""],"appCategory":"religion","appTitle":"What do you think happen in the case of the religious extremists?Do you think they become extremist because of their blind faith in religion or they become like that when they are misled by someone?","appBody":"<p>I think when we look around we'll see so many people taking irrational actions irrational decisions, even unwarranted speeches against their country and state and against humanity and all this sometimes in the name of religious morality which is actually extremism </p>\n<p> I think extremism comes as a result of misguided faith misguided perceptions and concocted opinion of some religious leader in high places who are actually influencing the public opinion of people who are actually religious to an extent.</p>\n<p>Sometimes faith isn't the cause of religious extremism it is as a result of being spiritually uneducated not knowing the truth or being able to distinguish between right and wrong most times it could be as a result of the fact that people are being fed with lies but the people who actually does this covers their face with religious belief meanwhile their actions are actually misguided and only masked by the fact that they are religious.</p>\n<p>Take a look at the boko haram bombings in Nigeria, when they started the bombing they stated that they were against western education and it's capitalistic nature, but actually in the long run the simplified there nefarious activities bayelsa killing innocent people and streaming them live on videos for the nation to see the horror and actually stated that they are doing this in the name of islam which is actually against western education along the road the added political propaganda and they became freelancers for political activities but yet they were still functioning under the fact that they were promoting district laws of islam and nothing else when they have actually become extremist who are dangerous and lethal.</p>\n<p>So people become extremist as a result of the wrong religious education being given to them by their clergy people or their spiritual leaders thats why a suicide bomber we actually pull off a suicide mission because of the misconceptions he's had or heard not even worrying about the implications of his life for his family or lives of people he's about to take because his opinion are being directed buy lies and misguided perceptions</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkfmd6j2x","appParentAuthor":"philipkavan","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |

It has been said, for example, that Omar Abdel Aziz, nicknamed the fifth well-guided caliph, once debated with the khawarij and was able to convince, in a single encounter, more than 1000 of them, to return to the Repentant Islam.</p>\n<p>Another reason for excess is prejudgment and capriciousness which usually leads to deliberately bad interpretations or even rejection of authentic texts in the interest of worldly goals and ambitions such as fame and command. They start by making their followers think that their religion is supreme to every other and start bringing out instances or quotes in their religious book that admonished them to be intolerant of others</p><p>It's such radical teaching that give rise to religious intolerance and extremism. Faithfuls of such religion will start seeing their religion as supreme and start tormenting those not practising such religion. Religious extremism is very bad because some religions teach theI'd faithfuls that they secure a play in heaven by being wicked to those that don't share same faith with them. To become a extremist is only possible when the person is a traumatized person, who had experienced in his life some kind of violence or a traumatic situation.</p>\n<p><br>\nThat will create a different personality in that person, what we can call a ego. And that ego can be manipulated to follow the most extremist form of a ideology.<br>\nThat saying any religion or ideology could be used for that, and trick outsiders to believe that the religion what the extremist follow is wrong.</p>\n<p><br>\nLike the terrorist from the Paris attacks, where not religion people and were outcast young man who grew up in Belgium and France, and did not live by the rules of the Islam and smoked weed and drank alcohol. They were manipulated by someone who knows how to manipulate people, to do something stupid.</p>\n<p><br>\nSo the strategy is, they search for traumatized people, and manipulate their minds with extreme thoughts, what will feed the ego of that person and let them do what ever they want. The CIA used a program called MK-Ultra and the Germans practiced that in camps, and the Russians did the same with there soldiers. In fact that is the reason they use propaganda in armies, that is to manipulate the soldiers to become killers, because a soldier has difficulty to kill a human, and there for they must be brainwashed to kill a murderer! You can't fight a war with nice soldiers, they have to be extreme and only with propaganda is that possible to manipulate them.</p>\n<p><br>\nAnd this can be done with everyone, you neighbor or you partner or even yourself, everyone can be a extremist if you are traumatized in some way, and someone talks into you, to feed the anger within you and then points you to a target!<br>\nThat saying, it can be very easy to manipulate someone to make him do what ever you want, this is pure physiology or science. And if i know this, and every student know this, or anyone else who do research into this...... </p>\n<p>then how difficult can it be for the billion dollar arms industry to create a situation where traumatized people get brainwashed to do extreme attacks, what can enforce a war to make the arms' industry more profit? </p>\n<p>For them it's just doing business and on the same time are people looking at a ideology or religion and think that they are the guilty ones.<br>\nThere for the extremist are a widow who lost his partner, young kids who lost family and are ignorant of the world, or people who lost someone or who has seen death. Like the officers in the Pol Pot regime, were all farmers who lost family members by the American bombings.</p>\n<p><br>\nSo it doesn't matter what people follow, at the end will everyone be influenced by the experience of the past.
