However, I had a weird experience at a young age, less than 10.

My family lived in a house and my room was about half a floor above ground level. It was at the front face of the house.

I used to sleep with my aunt in the same room, she slept in the bottom level of our bunk bed and I slept on the top level. Every morning I would pull the curtain, open the window and then the persiennes.

One morning, as I pulled the curtain, I saw a hand in front of my face retreating away from me through the persiennes and disappeared. I was frozen for a moment and then my curious mind started to analyse the situation and started to think that was impossible and it must be because I just woke up and must have hallucinated. It never happened again but I still remember the event clearly.

Few years ago, a friend of the family came to our house. Her husband claims to be able to see ghosts since he was young (kinda The Sixth Sense thing). He told us his anecdotes and always freaked my wife out. I’m OK as I don’t believe in ghosts. One day our friend told my wife that her husband told her he saw an old lady in our game room in the lower level of the house but she is a friendly spirit that just wander around in the lower level. The thing is we bought this house from a couple and the bottom level was occupied by their parents. At the time when we bought the house, the mother already died. So the spirit our friend saw would have been her. I don’t think we told them about this so is it coincidence?

Anyway, I’m a scientific kind of person and I haven’t had any experience that could support the existence of ghosts.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pklujw49x","appParentAuthor":"golddeejay","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
