They were even perceived as abusers because of their attitude towards money. Such culture in tax happens today as well.</p><p>Whether taxes are fair in our country, well, I would say NO. If yes, then our country already belonged to the first world countries. Our tax bureau has been hated by many because a lot of their employees are corrupt people. They accept bribe from huge companies so they can getaway from paying big taxes. They will oppress small people by pressuring them to pay certain amount so the taxpayer will offer money as a bribe.</p><p>There's an experience of a friend who was pressured by the tax bureau employee. My friend even witnessed how an old farmer was being pressed. These employees are merciless and corrupt. Just try to visit the houses of these employees and see how prosperous their lives are. We do not satisfied to tax cut no matter what proportion it is. Though we all know government need tax for our well being and for the operation. There is no other options.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>But sometimes, the earning proportion and tax proportion does not match. It does not give the citizens satisfaction if their paid tax does not work well for them.</p>\n<p>In my country we have a balanced 'income tax' rule, but our 'value added tax' is very high. So you can imagine, the people who have low income capacity is facing much problem in their everyday living as all the product is much valuable comparing to their income. So the living cost become high in last 10 years.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Our government putting more new value added tax every year. And all the basic products to industrial products costs become very high. We are surviving on this situation.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Another thing is, the public property, service and benefits are very low in my country. &nbsp;So our tax does not play well for us.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Other major thing is, here in my country there are many tax defaulter powerful people who does not care about the system. And government also does not take any action against them as they both are friend in back end. So it's the general people who suffers most for the tax system.</p>\n<p>But as there is no other option for the general population rather than giving tax so we have to do it. I hope Government should take measurement to correct the system in near future.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pk66m7saw","appParentAuthor":"rabada2001","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
