One who doesn't only count the moment but lives in it and makes the moment count.

Not just one who spends his days doing the things that makes him happy; but one who derives happiness from the little things he does. One who never shies to take a second from his time to enjoy the fruits of his runnings around.

One who makes sure to spend time with his loved ones; spend time laughing and getting to really know the people around him. One who chooses to understand and live in harmony with his neighbors to the best of his ability.

One who never obsesses because he understands that obsessions only bring about anxiety. And anxiety only brings about a shorter life bereft of fulfillment with no good to cone from it.

One who never goes through his life like an outer body zombie. Because he doesn't get engrossed in the vicissitudes of life; the ups and downs of life. One who understands that things will not always work the way we want them to. One who knows to not get himself disheartened by this.

A happy man is a man who knows that happiness is not an extended period in time; but a state that one claims with each moment that passes.

It is easy to think that happiness comes with money and a big car and respect and the whole world knowing your name. It very well might come with these things. And it very well may not. Because the real happiness is not these things themselves but the calmness of mind they ought to bring.

Sadly though they don't always bring this calmness. And the happiest man might not always be the richest man or the strongest or the most famous. But the one who chooses to do all the things mentioned above.

At least that is in my opinion. Cheers!
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3mx9dmdx","appParentAuthor":"kamilason","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
