From this, the assets, companies, liquidity are taken, the debt is subtracted and, based on that, the fortune is calculated.</p>\n<p>Regarding the method applied to know this amount of data, Miller said that they worked with three types of millionaires, those that are very reserved and that involve a thorough investigation that involves several sources such as brokers and real estate agents. According to Miller these are 10% of the list.</p>\n<p>On the other hand there are those who provide all the information but who never officially admit it (the great majority) and finally there are those who like to make public their fortune and who usually do not have as much as they claim.</p>\n<p>The data they have are approximate figures with a margin of error of one hundred million dollars that are obtained with thorough investigation and in most cases, with the authorization of the person.</p>\n<p>On the growth of Latin American fortunes, Miller commented that there are two important effects, on the one hand the stock markets have had a very positive behavior in the last year and on the other the reevaluation of the currencies has increased the value of the assets in dollars.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3k27azl5","appParentAuthor":"rasamuel","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
