| json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Literature",""],"appCategory":"Literature","appTitle":"Do you prefer works of literature with a simple prose style or you like complex intrinsic style?","appBody":"<p>I definitely feel that a work of literature with a simplistic style is the best, whether it's a prose poetry or drama, the main agenda of an author should be to passage across his audience or readers and when the message passed is hidden with innuendos, hidden under Elizabethan English, or a complex kind of theme which only appeals to the writer and didn't eventually losen up in the end to the readers is definitely not worth a read at all.</p>\n<p>I know a few authors in the 16-17th century that embrace these kind of complexity when writing really and they often get misinterpretated feedbacks on their works by critics and due to this their works of art ends up not graduating to be called classical books just like the works of people like Oliver Goldsmith and Shakespeare as well.</p>\n<p><strong>John Milton's \"paradise Lost\"and another poem lost is an example of a compilated work of art (a poem) </strong>although it has a simplistic theme but it was complicating and complex as a result of the details which interweaves into each other.</p>\n<p><strong>Another work is a poem titled \"the proud king\" this one is also basically complex and totally enigmatic as well, </strong>because readers find it difficult to cope with complex works be it prose poetry or drama.</p>\n<p>I prefer writer's like John Pepper Clark and Shakespeare too with simplistic works of art very easy and simple to understand and relate with.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkhkf549x","appParentAuthor":"rasamuel","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |

It helps to readers to easily access the author's intent.</p>\n<p>These days, what made some writers to be unique and great are <strong>simplicity of writing style.</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><img src=\"https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR6SbIfZn__kTuWcIzjJzqxQaycnGl2Fl3OHURg86iqtMxZIvIPeYXy9K5S\" /></p>\n<p>Image from Google </p>\n<p>For instance, <strong>George Orwell </strong>who was a fantastic author or writer produced one of the best <strong>timeless political works </strong>such as <em>Animal Farm </em>and <em>1984</em>, was known for his simplistic writing.</p>\n<p>Another great writer or poet from <strong>Nigeria, </strong>which I so much love is <strong>Niyi Osundare</strong>. Many <strong>literature</strong> students will rather choose his work to <strong>Wole Soyinka, </strong>because of simplicity of his style and languages he uses to drive home his <strong>message</strong>.</p>\n<p>As an <strong>African creative writer,</strong> he never failed to <strong>amuse</strong> his readers by the simplicity of his poetic style, and the use of simple figurative languages to communicate his mind to the <strong>society</strong> (masses) or <strong>readers</strong>.</p>\n<p><em>Big cheers!!!</em></p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkhkf549x","appParentAuthor":"rasamuel","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
