That thanos was just a psychopath who had no reverence for human life whatsoever and sympathising with him would make you scum of the highest class.</p><p>Now for thanos in the marvel cinematic universe, I could understand why you might sympathise with his actions, after all he did it to ensure the continuity of the universe, after all the universe has limited resources and the more beings that are born, the less resources the rest of us have left to use. Killing half of the universe was a necessary evil which he felt was something that had to be done.</p><p>His actions weren't done out of insanity or love for Death, they were done out of concern for the very universe that we live in .
