They also offer higher chances of going to 0 as well. That's what volatility is all about. Big risk, big reward.</p>\n<p>Bitcoin is my major holding at this time. Yes, I will miss out on all the coins that go to the moon, but I won't lose my shirt either.</p>\n<p>I have a friend who uses what I call the shotgun method. He buys 10-20 random coins ($500-1000 per coin), waits 6 months and sell. His hope is to catch 1 of those 20 coins when it goes to the moon.</p>\n<p>So far he has lost over $8K in 4 years of doing that.</p>\n<p>I prefer the hold and wait method on a good coin (or stock). (it can go up in any minute or go down as well in any minute)</p>\n<p>So in every investment do your own research and get to know the story behind that as you will be investing your own money. </p>\n<p>The other thing that I have seen that people have invested their life fortune in BTC or in other coins without knowing many things about it or its background few wee lucky to get up while most just went downwards. If only they did some research on their own . It is not difficult as we have tons of stuffs for understanding Crypto . <p>in my opinion, buying all the cheapest coins after selling at high prices, when prices start to rise, we will sell all of them</p>
