<p>Musing.io absolutely has the potential to outgrow them. Technically there is no problem to achieve that. And besides that, you have the incentive of rewards, which makes the platform much more attractive than Yahoo answers or Quora has ever been.</p>

Steem account creation is still a bit too difficult for the average user, I think this might prevent mass adoption.&nbsp;<br>
Aside from that, Musings is a great concept, so I see no reason why it couldn't be successful.</p>

<p>Absolutely! Much of this is dependent on the success of the Steem blockchain (<em>and cryptocurrecy odoption)</em> as a whole, but I believe the common theme is this:</p>
<p>We are still <strong>early </strong>in the development of blockchain tech, as well as the dapps built on top of it. With the coming HF20, there will likely be an influx of new users, and I certainly believe this will have a positive impact with musing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yes, I think, @musing has potential to grow bigger than them, because there is no reward to the users involved in those platforms. However, it needs lot of work.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Currently, only steemit users can use musing.io. And getting a steemit account is not that straight. With discounted accounts concept coming in Hard Fork 20 ( 3 days away), probably @musing can plan to sponsor account creation in future to facilitate users join the platform instantly.&nbsp;</p>
<p>And then a lot of marketing has also to happen, across several other platforms. Right now not many people do know about steem blockchain or musing.&nbsp;</p>
