Hash Lock is part of the cryptographic task in which it is ensured that any part of the fund can not be sent unless the other part is done. Time lock is the protection against the cancellation of the transaction by any party within a set time frame. </p>\n<p>It should be noted that not all the cryptocurrencies have HTLC feature or simply their design does not support HTLC technique. So those cryptocurrencies which do not have this feature can not be exchanged using Atomic Swap.
