In the context of non-fungible tokens as gaming asset (for example) it is more towards the control of the user than the game developer. </p>\n<p>In Etherum blockchain the non-fungible tokens are created as ERC-721 tokens. The protocol standard of ERC-721 is also different than the ERC-20. Non-fungible tokens create the digital scarcity which can be verified without the requirement of a centralized entity to confirm authenticity. It becomes profound and significant with blockchain technology as it enables to create a decentralized, unique and distinct and digitally scare tokens.
