The world has changed and even though I don't agree with it we have to move forward. It's not evil and is seen as natural today.</p>\n<p>One cannot be forced to be with someone because everyone says that is how it should be. Gays and lesbians have been around for 100's of years and have been hidden .</p>\n<p>Things won't change now as laws are being passed for same sex marriages and the religions need to move with the times. Every sin is equal before the lord and that's something that I was thought while I was in Sunday school. </p><p>Yes, by Christian standards homosexuality is a sin and no one is arguing that with anyone, but so is lying, so is fornication and so many other sins, but you don't see people saying that it's \"evil\". I personally am not a big fan of homosexuality, but I'm not going to sit back and just decide that it's evil. There are people who have killed people, raped women and mutilated children, those are evil people, I can't picture someone like Ellen Degeneros or Wentworth Miller who are openly gay as evil because these are people who do all they can to help people.</p><p>Looking at it from a human and non-religious point of view then I completely and absolutely disagree with homosexuality being evil. Everybody's lives are in their own hands and what I choose to do with my life is of no concern to anyone but me. </p><p>I truly believe that there are people who were born in the wrong body, from childhood you'll see that they behave like the opposite sex, so is it really surprising when they become attracted to the same sex? Maybe, just maybe, God made them that way for a reason, people just haven't understood it yet. Everybody should be free to live their lives the way they choose and I don't think doing that makes them evil.</p><p>Personally, I don't actually support same sex marriage, but you won't see me light a torch and go hunting for people who practice homosexuality. I don't support it, but I'm not going to kick against it because it's not in my place to decide how a person should live his life. I equally don't think sex before marriage is right, but we aren't here discussing whether or not that is evil are we?</p><p>Finally, no matter how you look at it, same sex marriage is not evil, it may not be right to some people, me included, but nobody has the right to tell two people how to live their lives.</p><p>I hope this helps.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkapy8td5","appParentAuthor":"sarakisaki","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |

| json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Morality"],"appCategory":"Morality","appTitle":"Do you believe that same sex marriage is evil?","appBody":"<p>Yes as a Christian I strongly believe that same sex marriage is evil beyond every reasonable doubt.</p><p>Firstly, marriage is the first kingdom institute created by God.</p><p>In the Bible when God created man and was about to institute marriage he created male and female and that is the two guarantee for marriage.</p><p>Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.</p><p>Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.</p><p>For me it is demonic for two male to have feelings for each other or two females to do such.</p><p>Most religion in the world are against same sex marriage even most society stand against it because it very irritating and doesn't sit well with human nature.</p><p>Marriage was designed by God between a man and woman and not the other way round as we see today.</p><p>Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.</p><p>These scriptures above stated clearly God's blue print and intention about marriage so if someone says same sex marriage is good it implies that God makes mistake which is not possible.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkapy8td5","appParentAuthor":"sarakisaki","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
