What kind of risks can you take for your country?

Hi, this is a very good question, which brings me enough memories. I live in Venezuela, specifically in the city of Caracas (the second most dangerous city in the world). Living day to day in this country is a risk, not only because of the different economic problems that the country faces, but because of the social breakdown that we have, which in my opinion is more and more lost every day. We went through a moment of intolerance and disrespect for life that is increasing. I live in a country where dying at the hands of crime is no longer news, it is everyday.

The memories that your question brings me, go back to the protests for democracy in 2014 and 2016 where, together with my university colleagues, we left to march peacefully in search of a change and in case the act of thinking differently was a risk that threatened your life. They repressed us, they attacked us the police forces and they even killed us, not only they finished with thousands of dreams if not with hundreds of young lives.

A risk I take every day is to prepare myself to be professional and to have my thoughts clear about what is right or wrong, in this country thinking differently is a risk ..
