Here it is not about how much amount is there in the contest or who wins how big amount, rather the journey from the announcement of the contest to the effort put up by every participants and the whole process of participation is worth to check for and that is what the beauty of the contest is and I strongly believe that the contests are good for the steem ecosystem and that can play a vital role to keep the steem blockchain and the activity around it more dynamic. </p>\n<p>I think the best ever value based contest in steemit is by @originalworks as it organizes weekly contest on different blockchain projects(sponsored) and the prize money is also quite good and it is quite accommodative as well. While the best write up by the contestants receive good amount of rewards, also it gives consolation prizes to 100 participants for their average or below average entry. So it is a kind of contest which rewards for the good writing skill and good knowledge of the blockchain project under consideration and also quite accommodative as well and I do not see any other contest on steem blockchain which is as good as orginalworks contest.</p>\n<p>The benefit of such a contest is that people will do some sort of research and read the white paper at least to know the subject matter of the project in details and in the process many people will get to know about the blockchain project. Further this type of contest improves the writing skill and many people will get to know the existing problem interface and solution provided by the different blockchain projects. So with the help of this kind of contest, there is an expansion of knowledge, understanding of the blockchains and several projects in a much better way and at the end for their good effort, they are getting paid.
