Yes, If you drink too much you will develop a dependency on it and get headaches and crash when you do not have it. 1-2 cups a day max is good. It does have detoxifying properties and can keep you aware and focused but too much of it can make your heart race and send you into a panic. So yeah it can be bad for your health but the benefits are there in moderation. Just like everything.
