Like wise blue-green coloured eyes which have a melanin shade between greean and blue. Hazel also has the same between green and brown. </p><p>Scientists have come up with a model which is based on two genes that explain the reason for the colours, brown, blue and green of thr eye. This model is what the eye calculator is based on. Recently, scientists have isolated the key gene OCA2, which is responsible for the production of thr melanin for the eye colour and explains why most people have brown coloured eyes and others dont. </p><p>Even after a long tine of research, the reason for the green colour of the eyes have not been established. It could be because there are many genes which producr this color at a time. A pretty good thought from scientists is that as much as they sre not sure of how the eye colour comes about, they propose that these genes probably are responsible for how much melanin is produced and basically, the eye colour is gotten from a combination of these genes. </p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkb3h7psq","appParentAuthor":"tim2009","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
