It is a family cure that is at least 5 generations old and very easy to do.</p>\n<p>This should be done just before you get into bed for the night: At the first sign of cold symptoms get some red wine. I use Pinot Noir. What I do is pour about a half glass worth in a pot and and warm it on the stove until it is just starting to steam (you don't want to heat it too much). Then, I swallow it as quickly as I can. From there, I put on layers of warm clothes and a stocking cap and get into bed and sleep. </p>\n<p>In the middle of the night you will wake up in a pool of sweat. This is good. This is what you're going for. Usually the next day I am good to go and cold free.
