You could answer this question from a purely scientific or natural perspective. We are another animal species feeding an atmosphere that sustains life. We evolve and a part of all other living things and depend on one another. Our role as apes was at one time intricately linked to trees, tree-dwelling and the dispersal of seeds that form new growth. We are compost-creators.

When you think about the 'meaning of life', we think more about our role in a complex, collaborative (mental) society that recently has grown beyond its habitat, and where we all play a role - giving and taking - within this vast, successful (invasive?) society of apes that is now powerful due to its diversity and communication. 

However, perhaps we shouldn't forget our most basic function in relation to the earth's atmosphere. 

Whatever choices and beliefs we come up with, we are still part of an evolving array of lifeforms spreading and dispersing seeds. You could argue that the meaning of life we now face is to remember our original habitat, and to preserve and find more harmony with it to find balance. 

Much of humanity are still tied closely to the land and to the production of food. There are (and have been) other successful species on this planet. Normally they will overrun their habitat and die off when radical changes occur or another species becomes successful in its place. The earth will probably correct itself from us, if something does not shrink our numbers rapidly (our damage to our habitat). Will our technology save us? That's another argument. 

Are we all-powerful? Are we special? No, we are another species on this planet, albeit a sophisticated one. We are tied to it. We do not differ from each other as much as some families of animals, as we have not demonstrated much tolerance to other types of apes. However, we all feed the atmosphere and disperse seeds, and we all help one another. Living and dying we feed and shape the flame of life, and shape the values of the next generation. Those values are thankfully, finally, becoming more aware of our natural, scientifically-enlightened position in nature.  

An important part of the meaning of life is perhaps still the securing of a position in our society, and gaining respect or influence over others. This can take strength and commitment, and sometimes involve confrontation and standing up for what one believes or feels strongly is right for many. But it can lead to a strong sense of fulfilment as well as physical rewards. Due to our diversity, there are many different roles to search for and adopt, and finding those most suited to our own nature or strengths, can be a challenging part of this 'game' that strengthens life. 

Life must not be understood, it must be lived with good and bad.

life is all about living , deal with your hurdles, achieve your goals , desire new things make girlfriends and also make friends , do something which is amazing and life changing so that when you died even after 50 years of death those you left behind will say what a man he was!

but there is one thing to note: The answer to that question reflects your belief in life. The person who believes that life is a struggle will see that life is a struggle that must be striven for. Therefore, the day in his life will be endured by struggling. While people who believe that life is a challenge, will see that the life they live is a challenge that must be solved. He will live his life by "solving challenges". People who believe that life is a journey will see that life is a long journey that must be accomplished goal. Therefore he will live his life by "walking" on it.

The way we believe life will affect our mindset. The mindset will affect the action, and the action will produce fate.

Think of it as a game, life has a lot of challenges and rules. Up to you to play it the best possible way, anything is possible.
