If you send money through paypal or something, they'll charge you a fat fee. But in crypto, you pay a small fee to the miner. However, the transaction would be irreversible (unless bitcoin or any other blockchain gets 51% attacked somehow) unless the other person is willing to send your money back. It's not at all physical. And your coins, if in a cold wallet, can basically NEVER be stolen (unless you give someone your private key). But I definitely recommend using crypto's because... it's just much better.
