If you would begin to learn a new language right now which would that be and why? What foreign languages do you currently speak?

If I would begin to learn a new language, that would be the Japanese language. There are many reasons for that. Let me quote a part of one of my earlier answers:</p>\n<p> Why? Aside from I like the Japanese culture, we have so many similarities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>We use the eastern name order (family name first, then given name).</li>\n <li>We use the same date format (Year-Month-Day) (2018.12.22).</li>\n <li>We write the addresses similarly (from the largest unit to the smallest).</li>\n <li>The word order is basically the same (SOV) (Subject-object-verb). The Hungarian word order is flexible. We sometimes also use the SVO (Subject-verb-object) and OVS (Object-verb-subject) word order, but the most common is the SOV (Subject-object-verb) word order.</li>\n <li>Same usage of the genitive case.</li>\n <li>Both of the languages are originates from Asia.</li>\n <li>Both of the languages are agglutinative languages.</li>\n <li>The Old Hungarian and the Katakana, Hiragana writing systems are somewhat similar in appearance.
