Neither is there any limit on the upper value of the price.</p>\n<p>Crypto currency is a pure speculative play.</p>\n<p>Steemians need to take a more sophisticate approach to the price of STEEM. We must ask how we will respond to the fluctuations.</p>\n<p>I am in SteemIt for the duration. The price might fall so low that the witnesses can't pay their bills and the platform fails. I will be grubbing for upvotes until the day the platform goes blank. I would be proud to have a large amount of STEEM POWER when the servers go dark.</p>\n<p>The only real question for me is how I will deal with spikes in the price. I have an upper limit to the exposure I want for STEEM. When my account value crosses a given threshold; I intend to sell half of my STEEM.</p>\n<p>STEEM is a speculative play.
