<p>Holiness means to be different, to set aside, to not associate with the heathens. It means to live a spiritual, sanctified and holy life devoid of sin and blemish. In Leviticus 19:2 God commanded us to be holy because he is holy. Though we are in the world we are not of the world and therefore we must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.</p><p>To be holy means to do away with sins according to Gal 5: 19-22. The works of the flesh listed there must be not be named among us. We are admonished not to walk by the flesh because we only can reap corruption and destruction and cannot love a ho,y life.</p><p>Living a holy wife means obeying God's commandment and doing his will so we can be call a holy nation according to 1pet 2:9. God wants us to be like him. Holiness is not an option for Christians. It is a command.</p><p>In Hebrews 12:14, we are enjoined to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man can see God. The only way we can be holy is coming in contact with the source of holiness which God. The is psalmist said that God is glorious in holiness. </p><p>Holiness means your sins have been washed by the blood of the lamb, Jesus. At the point of repentance one becomes a new creature, holy unto God and that is when the holy spirit comes into us and resides in us. </p><p>Holiness in bible standard is imitating the life of Christ.</p>
