An ERC20 token is a token on the Ethereum blockchain, as opposed to a coin with its own blockchain. I tend to put more value on coins rather than tokens as they have their own independent ecosystems, and have the potential to themselves support tokens of their own. GAS is starting to look good, I think takeoff is imminent!
