This is probably the best deal you can get from Apple at the moment for a flagship device. The XR has pretty much every feature from the $999 Xs or the even pricier Xs Max. 

The only differences you will really notice is the display is LCD and not OLED (iPhone 8 series and below have LCD) and you lose out on the telephoto camera on the back.

Other than that it’s pretty much all the same AND the XR is reported to have the BEST battery out of all 3 flagships regardless of the fact it costs $250 less than the bottom line Xs.

It really is incredible how good camera phones have become. It's as if a phone and a computer were built on the frame of a fixed 20 meg optical camera with the sizzle being the camera section over everything else.
