This was a great help. I set up a secondary account a couple of weeks ago, and verified that it was setup. I copied and pasted the 32 character key, but when I try to sign in to the new account using that key, it is telling me it is invalid. I thought it may have had something to do with copying and pasting it, but I just typed in the whole 32 character key and can't get into the account I created (You walked me through setting it up I think.) So far, I have no other keys, just the 32 character key that i can't seem to be able to do anything with. What am i doing wrong?

It sounds like a copy paste error.. You can double check that your PW hasn't been changed on steemd.com. You can also see if the "Change Password" feature works. Another tip that @drakos suggests is to try ctrl-insert to copy, and shift-insert to paste, instead of ctrl-c/ctrl-v .

Thanks! I'll check to see if there somehow had been a change to the password. I did try the Ctrl-insert, but that did not work either. Strange, that just typing it in did not work either. All I did was save the password.

I have tried everything. I have set up this second account and I just can't use it. Someone suggested copying the password first into the Google search bar and then copying it from there. I get the same message that I have the wrong password. I made so sure that I copied it and saved it in so many places. Someone said that this 32 character password is just a temporary one, and i imagine it must be because I don't have any of the other keys to use yet. So do you know if that can be reset? I even tried a different browser to know avail. This is not a case of losing my password. I seem to have a password that just won't work to even get me started.

Unfortunately no. I was pretty sure that they were all 52 characters though. Maybe that's the issue? The password it gives is not a temporary one. It is the master key for the account.
