Yes, there is a lot of discussion/activity around it. It is a glitch in the Steem blockchain code though, so unfortunately it is probably not going to be fixed until the next hardfork.

That bug can be fixed without requiring another hardfork. To track progress for that bug, see [this pull request](https://github.com/steemit/steem/pull/705). Of course, even after the pull request is merged into develop, Steemit would still need to upgrade their servers to the latest code for the bug to be resolved on steemit.com. But none of that requires a hardfork of the blockchain.

Ah, cool. I didn't realize that after the pull request was accepted that it could be deployed to some nodes without having to get rolled out to the rest of the network in order to work. Thanks for the info!
