Indeed a lot was ingrained into us right from childhood that mouldes us into the adult we are now. These indoctrinated thoughts have become an habit that will take a consistent conscious effort to change. However, a change in thoughts from aggression comes about to alter a trajectory in our thoughts.

Such a strong and heartfelt article! I fully share these views. I'm very familiar with symptoms of aggression among the people around me. They are dissatisfied with their lives, but blindly believe the government, believe that their country is the best. Their lives are bad, but they deep down believe that the best of life they are not worthy, they are bad. And this internal aggression justifies any atrocities that they do. They believe their violence is justified. Because takeim way they supposedly kept their honor and the honor of his country.( or the countryside, towns, villages).

I dont understand why I have this kind of thinking towards mysel, like I cut myself and hurt myself though I haven't experience any abuse before. Thanks for your post.

I've often pondered how much of our sports based mentality from childhood up until adulthood contributes to this aggression mentality.  We put on a pedestal athletes who are wealth in the worlds view, and our young people aspire to this, often leading us to feel their aggressive behaviors and attitudes are the path to success.  What are your thoughts on how sports contributes to this issue in our society?

I think this is basically impossible for governments to act without violating the principle of non-aggression. This is because compulsory taxes are coercion, theft, and extortion. All these actions violate the principle of non-aggression. Taking people's money without their permission is theft. Any business regulation, permit requirements, government zone restrictions, anti-drug laws, restrictions on consensual actions are considered "immoral," etc. violations of the principle of non-aggression as they prevent people from using their resources justly obtained in peace in their way .

Have you ever read about Ayn Rand and objectivism? 

It’s very similar to what you are describing here. Of course, Ayn Rand being a famous philosopher has a lot of extensive works.

Can we be nonviolent, I don't think so. We can fight our own inner wars to be but we often lose it. Why? Because we are (even if we don't want to admit it) just another animal species and battle to survive or to be alpha male or female are embedded in our DNA. Self-control can help but as soon as we feel endangered instincts kick in and peaceful thinking vanishes like it never existed.

Awareness is the best way of human culture, violence make horrible moment, if you want to safe from them you should suggest all others person because only can't recover the problem, first need to passion

I totally agree with all this. Violence doesn't add anything to anybody or any nation or country.. Violence is something that being in sick people.  BUt unfortunately violation is easy to make and peace is not..

War, as i see it, is **optional.**

But we, as human beings, don't **believe it is**. That is ALL that makes it "necessary". Because for it to be optional, you actually need the **all** pople involved **to decide** not to fight.

And they don't do it, because, again, they think it is actually necessary to fight. For whatever reason.

It is, as i see it, a really, really stupid cycle.

Someone asked the  Dalai Lama said about how about how his situation was different from Gandhi.  He said that Gandhi could use nonviolence because if you have a disagreement with the British you can petition the government for redress and settle things in court and go through a legal process, even if you face arrest, on the other hand he was facing the Chinese, who will just shoot you in the face.

I believe that medias Hollywood and bad parenting are main reasons for such a behavior, this world is really sick and disturbing sometimes. I think if every person would meditate at least 15-30 minutes per day than we would live in a completely different world, and violence, agression and anger would be a rare thing:) Thanks for the article.

Really love this topic, and you are dead on when saying, the state is often in direct disagreement with non-aggression principle. In general, peace does not make the state ~~money,~~ enough money. Then when you start to add in that democracies across the world rent really that democratic anymore, it's easy to see why the world is in a constant state of fear. Powerful oligarchs pull the strings and must keep the status quo if they are to stay perched atop the throne.

Love can be the cure for voilence to Ourself.Being in a relation can really help

Non-aggressive behavior should and must always start at home. We must teach our children on how to appropriately react and handle different scenarios in life. Constant guidance and support is needed so we can teach them to spread love and peace all the time. :)

I like where this your No Aggressive Principle (NAP) is going. Today, it seems like the natural to be aggressive. People see you as weak if you cant stand up to a fight or war of words. Wish this could cause the needed change our world needs. Thanks @aggroed for this

We waste so much energy as human beings with this kind of behaviour, whether it's towards others or ourselves. I have personally been quick to put myself down on a regular basis, with feelings of worthlessness etc. If we all tried to follow the non-aggression principle, the world would be a much better place.

That's why they killed MLK, they don't know how to deal with peaceful people.

Yesterday I saw an wall in Lisbon with this phrase "If we all join the hands who's hold the arms?"
I think it's a great phrase!
Maybe one day it left no one to hold the arms!
