This is much of the reason why i wrote this - too many conclusions were being drawn without the significant evidence to back it up. However, lets not dismiss all of it because some claims were somewhat unfounded. As it stands, there is certainly good cause to investigate more.

If you understand basic statistics and psychology it becomes pretty hard to say all of this is unfounded. 

If there is nothing to hide -- open up for an investigation.

Not all, but some - e.g. the cannibalism theory and child sacrifice theories. 
I studied 2 years of Psychology, which statistics is a big part of.
