I wonder how they will deal with setting up accounts for these users if a large site brings 1m people with them to the SMT's and all of their members will need a wallet if they wan't to participate.

That will start with the RC pool to start. I think the apps are going to be doing more of the setting up accounts in the future. But yes, as of this moment, I find it difficult to believe the ecosystem system could handle 1M sign ups in a timely manner.
