In the future, I wonder if exchanges such as Kraken or Shapeshift will migrate to decentralized, blockchain-based exchanges so that they will be harder to take down. For example, BitSquare, I have never really heard of BitSquare report funds stolen from attacks. Due to decentralization and blockchain confirmations which combat the power of many systems attacking a centralized place.
