we are in sync completely. I nothing to add, I believe we totally in the same place.
One other thing... you will find that I like to name things... at first it seems a little childish, but as we get bigger it helps subliminally... it becomes a thing at some point. I will tell you a few things that I am thinking to get your feedback.
"re-steemer" is what we call the person that devotes his day to resteeming. He will leave a message similar to this to keep spreading the word on the post he resteemed. And on the comment where it was left on his blog, he just says something like "resteemed" (putting it in both places encourages those who see it to copy
***You have been resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday ... I made today my #newbieresteemday, and invite you and others to do the same. To learn more: [Come Join Us!!! (Newbie Resteem Initiative)](https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@davemccoy/its-here-its-launched-come-join-us-newbie-resteem-initiative)***
"scout" is what we call someone who takes the job of welcoming the newbies (usually from the #introduceyourself tab) and then tags the end of the post with this:
***You have been resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday ... I made today my #newbieresteemday, and invite you and others to do the same. To learn more: [Come Join Us!!! (Newbie Resteem Initiative)](https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@davemccoy/its-here-its-launched-come-join-us-newbie-resteem-initiative)***
"tag lifter" someone who goes to the "new" section of #newbieresteemday and literally resteems as many of the posts they like to their own feed.
again leaving the message:
***You have been resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday ... I made today my #newbieresteemday, and invite you and others to do the same. To learn more: [Come Join Us!!! (Newbie Resteem Initiative)](https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@davemccoy/its-here-its-launched-come-join-us-newbie-resteem-initiative)***
"teacher" someone who looks for bad posts and gives the newbie on advice on how to fix it and make it better
"coach" someone who encourages the newbies to "keep it up" and basically tries to motive. Usually this will happen with a good post and your encouragement just gives an extra validation.
"helper" someone that notices that something isn't done (like not using @originalworks or @resteemable) or that they failed to use the 5 tags at the bottom. But can also include helping them to understand that begging doesn't work and things like that.
"donater" someone who looks for ways to help either the newbies directly or one of the other people in the #newbieresteemday initiative ... I could be something as simple as upvoting things to as sophisticated as transfers of SBD for support, delegations of STEEM POWER, or using upvoting services on posts they like. Basically the "donater" is looking to help financially.
"host" someone who has games for the newbies or contests where they can win prizes. It can also be a themed post like who can find the silliest pirate costumes. The host is the one who organizes the invent and markets it to get the newbies together and connect with each other.
"content admirers" are the people that look through the sea of other #newbieresteemday actions and tries to identify and feature the "best of"... Like a top 10 for newbies only... They could have differnet categories over time too.
"connectors" those would be people that see posts that need resteemed but don't want to ruin their own feed... They would simply copy the link they want resteemed and pass it to the "re-steemers" to resteem.
I think that is enough right now, let me know your thoughts. I've found by naming things and functions, it clarifies where people can fit in. Later we can decide if we want any regulations but in the beginning its like "nudging" people to help in a way that naturally suits them. It keeps the energy levels up and the "work factor" down.
Also there is one more that you will probably need as I write this.
"organizer" someone that takes down and organizes who is who and what is what. All of these people out there would love to in one of these categories or many that we haven't even thought of. But someone should be keeping track of who is who and maybe even putting out a directory at some point.
also in your tokens that are coming we would also need "developers" "marketers" etc... but that is phase 2. Also don't let me forget about "grant seekers"... charisma777 would be very good at this.
there is lots of roles... and many more to come.
Let me know what you think.
