This sounds pretty cool. I definitely like the idea. I think an implementation of a system like this would help mitigate the lack of eyes on content, but I'd still love to see our feeds end up with the ability to follow certain tags. I think being able to curate your own feed would help you see more of the things you want without having to wade through a lot of other stuff. This would obviously help both content creators and consumers empower each other.
