I am very impressed with the contents of your post as a " newbie" because it gives me a glimpse into the rationale for the current behavior of the platform. This kind of transparency is unheard of and does not exist on any other platform or site on the internet.
It is obvious that you are facing immense technical and other challenges in gaining market and mindshare for Steem.
I have studied your white paper and applaud you for coming up with a concept that is pure genius.
I believe that the concept outlined in the white paper when fully tested, executed, and refined will result in a platform that gains critical mass faster and with more of a growth ramp than anything we have seen before on the internet.
I am very pleased with what I have seen and experienced so far. 
I am betting that you will successfully meet and exceed all the hurdles on your way to realizing the goals outlined in the white paper.
