@ned I'm shaking my head Lemme get this straight, you need rigorous gatekeeping witnesses to stop the shitty code changes, yet there are sweet fanny Adams that understand the code in its entirety Inherently you are outsourcing code QA to people that are paid for their services by the output of that code. And that looks like a serious conflict of interest. Oh and vote for my witness if you want change đ

I take blame here. Letâs now look forward again â the reality is the system is going to be stronger with published Witnessâ Gatekeeping Standards. These become Steemâs development companiesâ standards that must be met too.Itâs something weâll all arrive at together. Iâm actually looking forward to the process. Once we get some of our sleep back

Dear @ned, I joined Steemit several months ago, and after having made 120 posts, I have only earned around 4 Steem coins. Other than this reply, my last post/reply at Steemit was 10 days agoâthat being a Table of Contents page which I made for my blog ( https://steemit.com/tableofcontents/@lanniebrockstein/toc1-contact ) where you and everybody else reading this reply of mine may see for yourselves the Proof of Brain quality of my posts. They include a few of my original sonnets which I composed in iambic pentameter and that feature sound recordings of myself singing them whilst playing my early 1950s acoustic guitar, along with the literary videos of them that I made, as well as my tutorial on how to write metrical poetry, one of my haikus, as well as an article that I wrote on How I Watch Star Wars, and two comedic prose poems. From my having posted them at Steemit, along with my having interacted in a friendly manner with many others, I have only earned around 4 Steem coins. In terms of income earned, that has been like working in a third world country sweatshop. So, I quit posting at Steemit. I quit posting at Steemit, and I started posting at Scorum (a sports only crypto-platform) that is based on your own Steemit technology. I am having so much fun at Scorum, like I did at Steemit until I realized how broken Steemitâs economy is. Thus far, after my having posted at Scorum only 3 articles and dozens of comments, I have earned almost 100 Scorum coins. On my very first comment which I posted at Scorum, I earned more than I did at Steemit after several months. I got paid to complain about the Toronto Maple Leafs! There are no bid-bots at Scorum; plain and simple, thatâs why. I really want for Steemit to succeed, because I would much rather be posting my poems at Steemit than my sports articles at Scorum, as I would rather focus on art more than on sports. But the economy at Steemit is entirely broken. Bid-bots (many of which are owned by witnesses) have ruined it. It is probably impossible for me to earn 100 Steem coins unless I were to work for years on my blog at Steemit, for pennies, as though I were a person in the sweatshop of a third world country. The economy of Steemit is that of a third world economy, because there are witness-owned bid-bots at Steemit. The economy of Scorum is a first world economy because there are no bid-bots at Scorum. So, I have migrated from Steemit to Scorum! But I didnât want to! I wanted to stay at Steemit! I really did! I hope for you guys to repair Steemitâs economy so that it will become a first world economy. Please make that one of your main priorities! Otherwise, it was nice knowing you or please come and visit me at Scorum anytime! I suggest that Steemit redesign the formula for its Trending and Hot pages to be determined solely by the number of non-spam/non-flagged human comments posted, instead of the number of upvotes that can easily be gamed by robot bid-bots. It seems me to like an easy fix for Steemit to make, in order to help make bid-bots obsolete, and therefore for @null to be able to do its job in promoting posts, as it is intended to, and so that the price of Steem will increase for everybody. Also needed is for Steemit to properly educate all of its users on the importance of using @null, and not bid-bots, so that @null can promote posts whilst burning Steem and therefore increase the price of Steem, instead of bid-bots receiving something like 25%-30% of the reward pool and not burning any Steem. One requirement for being a witness should be not being a bid-bot owner, because bid-bots have ruined Steemitâs economy. Until the economy of Steemit stops being that of a third world country, I will probably not continue to post at Steemit, other than to kindly tell you that! In regards to posting my art online, I hope to look at other crypto-communities, some or all of which are also based on your Steemit technology. @ned, they learned from you. Isn't it now the time for you to learn from them? Is now really the time for Steemit to press ahead with something new? Isn't now the time for Steemit to learn from what others have already accomplishedâfrom their having built upon what you have already accomplished? Isn't doing so part of what decentralized means? I hope that you guys can repair Steemitâs economy. It doesnât seem that the witnesses care for that to happen, though. But the world needs for Steemit and its crypto-alternatives to succeed, because independent artists, independent comedians, and independent journalists require censorship-free zones in order to present to the general public their best work. Without Freedom of Speech, there is nothing. We also need to eatâthat is why we artists, comedians, and journalists also need for Steemitâs economy to be a first world economy, like the way that the economy at Scorum is. From Lannie.

All the while I soak up all the good ideas I can find. There is more to learn from others than anywhere else

Thanks for the reply, you will be seeing more, Much More, from this fair lady, @Sapphic! 35 years IT and related fields experience, and since we've been together I have become more impressed by her skills every day. We are building something great together, and that vote request was not a joke, she can really back that up! PS: Get some rest, we will all need it as these markets open back up. We need great leadership, @ned, so be ready for the task! I say that we are HERE:
