This is really cool! I'm sure this will improve the capabilities of surgeons when it's eventually adopted to a greater degree. This would likely mean that many surgeries that previously would require a surgeon to open up the patient could possibly be done without as much risk.

The only thing I really worry about is the difficulty to sterilize the endoscope. I hope that it's possible to put it in an autoclave or some such.
