Why steemit.com's Alexa Traffic Rank started stagnating?

According to both [Alexa itself](https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/steemit.com) and @penguinpablo's daily stats, there is no significant inrease in the traffic "judge" of Steemit since early-to-mid September, while on the other hand, the number of daily active users is slightly increasing.

Did we reach a "local maximum" with our current traffic and exposure? Or is there any reason for it? 

What do you think, will SMTs cause any change in it?

Steemit is still slowly building up but in no way has become a big thing yet. I believe that in the last four months though it has already doubled in its userbase. 
In no way is the maxium reached yet, the technology behind Steemit is able to handle a lot, lot more traffic...
