Ok you may doubt it but I have been here for 7 months watching. I've never seen Dan interacting with the community ONCE. Not even once... There is NO transparency about what is done with the "Steemit" funds. How many devs have they hired with all of this money.. Any? Why did it take them 6 months to make an avatar feature on the site? What has Ned done besides travel the world and party? Have his "conferences" helped the platform at all? How many new users have those conferences brought to the site and how many 10s of thousands of dollars were the travel costs so far? The money is being throw in the garbage as far as I have seen.

You know more than me on the subject then, I have only been apart of the community for about a month or so. I do see distribution being a huge issue but have no magic wand solution on fixing. Had a few friends join and they have been doing well, hope they continue to do so also. I see a lot of potential in creating a community inside of a community. So much for my blind optimism on the platform, it was nice while it lasted. ;)
