I think you are mistaken. The voting rules are unchanged - the hard fork did not implement any changes to the voting due to the response to the proposed changes. You are free to vote as before.

I love the premise of Steemit, and I thank the bosses for making such a novel platform; but seriously having a Social Media website where people cannot network and connect with thinks like voting or whatever you want to call recognition's is just plain almost pointless . . .

(nesting is 6 deep = i reply here) oh yes I need to speak with others in private lol, but making people only have 5 votes per day was just silly. People need to share the love around and to also feel the love, taking the social out of steemit would not have been a smart move by reducing voting power . . .

(nested 6 deep = I reply herein) Yes you are correct, but they really frightened me with such a suggestion (of going to a 5 vote per day system) so I try and discourage Steemians from making a lot of daily votes . . . I just wanted to say if your going to vote vote at 100 percent power so your vote might actually mean something; it is pointless voting 20 times per day on 20 posts if that just rewards one cent. People have earned their voting power they should use it lol, unless they are like Dolphins on steroids with tens of thousands of SP ! ! ! Again ; thank you for such a wonderful post . . .

No problem. I understand your concerns about it. I generally vote at full power for posts with low amounts and a lower percentage for higher valued posts. If they have earned a lot my 1 cent really doesn't matter so I try to conserve it for those that do and where it will make most difference.

Oh thank you for understanding me, and truly that is a GEM of an idea. Lowering voting power for richly paying posts, NEVER thought of that. You see this is the power of " natural selection " in action, it is ideas like that that make you a Reputation 64 and myself a Rep 54 . . . ' Mother Nature ' works on survival of the fittest so only strong genes are passed on and it looks like that on Steemit as well ! ! ! It is by networking that random retards like me can learn things to ultimately become a powerful force on Steemit.
