Please tell me this isn't just a cute pun of a section title and you'll be developing something adorably wrong like your monsters have to eat kittens to build their magical energy.  Instead of mana, you can possibly call it *kitta*. Just like the name *Exploding Kittens*, I would totally want to get behind a game with that sense of humor. ;)
